Opened in 1944 in a retrofitted school bus, this seasonal restaurant sits at the northwest corner of Battery Park in Burlington, Vermont from April to October cooking up our incomparable fries & Michigans.
To celebrate our 72nd season, we are now selling t-shirts - sizes S-XXL. Shirts are just $16!
Many thanks to Select Design for their creativity!
Beansie's first opened in 1944, and has been faithfully feeding Burlingtonians for 72 years. The Beansie's Bus family is aimed at keeping the summer tradition alive for current and future generations.
Beautiful Battery Park is located ideally between downtown and the new north end. Visit us on your way home from work, or on your way to North Beach on a hot day. Bring the kids for a creemee, and enjoy one of the many concerts and events held throughout the summer in the park.
While we are known for our fabulous french fries and mouthwatering Michigan dogs, we have other classics to appease your summertime cravings. A few new items have been added in the past few years, and they are already becoming fast favorites. Click through to see our menu.
